Request for Reclassification Form (downloadable version)

A Request for Reclassification must be submitted to the Office of the Registrar no later than the fifth day of the semester for which reclassification is sought. There are no exceptions to this mandated deadline. Requests received after the published deadline will not be considered. Tuition will be assessed at the non-resident rate for that term.

Please note, until a decision has been made on your request, you should consider yourself a non-Florida resident. It is your responsibility to adhere to all fee payment deadlines for the term. If you are approved for in-state residency after payment is made, you will be refunded the out-of-state portion of your fees.
