Mid-Term Grade Posting - Yes, for Summer, too

This Summer, all students enrolled in 1000, 2000, and 3000 level courses (levels 1000-2000 at USF Sarasota-Manatee) will receive mid-term grades online. Mid-term grade postings are expected for all semesters, all year round. The USF System-wide requirement for Mid-Term Grades Posting, Number 10-504, ensures students receive early insight into their academic progress.

Canvas supports this requirement. All students -- regardless of classification -- enrolled in 1000, 2000 and 3000 level courses will be reflected on class roster(s) to facilitate submitting mid-term grades online. Mid-term grades submission may begin during the third week of classes for Sessions A & B, and at the fifth week of classes for Session C as outlined below:

Session A opens 8:00 AM on Tuesday, May 27th and closes 11:59 PM on Monday, June 2nd.

Session B opens 8:00 AM on Monday, July 21st and closes 11:59 PM on Friday, July 25th.

Session C opens 8:00 AM on Monday, June 16th and closes 11:59 PM on Friday, June 20th.

Mid-term grades provide a progress report before the academic penalty withdrawal deadline for each session of Summer semester. This policy is a Student Success Initiative. Implementation supports academic achievement, does not encourage course withdrawals, but provides an early warning to help students make informed decisions regarding course completion.

Instructions for online grade submission are available at http://etg.usf.edu/?page_id=3074.
