ARC Petitions may be obtained from an ARC Representative or the Office of the Registrar. (Click here to download now.) Petitions must be returned to your representative in your academic college of your major. College representatives are listed on the ARC Petition form.
As an undergraduate or non-degree seeking student taking 5000 or lower level courses, you may petition your Academic Regulations Committee (ARC) Representative for readmission to U.S.F., late or retroactive drops, late or retroactive total withdrawals from a term, late adds or registrations, an even exchange of courses with equal hours and no additional fee liability, or other adjustments to your student records. Graduate students and non-degree seeking students taking 6000 or higher level courses seeking an adjustment must contact their Graduate School for a Graduate Council Petition.
If you are applying for readmission because you have not been in attendance for the last three terms, complete and submit a new Application for Admission with your ARC petition. Admission applications may be obtained from the Office of Admissions. For application deadlines, refer to When Are Important Calendar Dates And Deadlines.
Supporting documentation must accompany your petition. Acceptable forms of documentation, e.g. letters from physicians(click here to download ARC Medical Form), employers, instructors or other University officials. You should speak with their ARC Representative to determine which documentation is appropriate.
You will be notified of your representative's decision in writing at the address you indicate on your ARC Petition form.
